Why This Matters
Traditional microcement systems require you to correctly identify the surface you’re applying over—and use different primers, layers, or systems depending on whether that surface is porous or non-porous. Getting this wrong can lead to adhesion failures, cracking, or uneven results.
MyCROCEMENT™ removes that complexity. Since all stable surfaces follow the same process, you spend less time diagnosing the substrate and more time applying with confidence.
The result: fewer decisions, fewer mistakes, and more consistent outcomes—especially for DIY projects.

FAQs
1. Is microcement waterproof?
Microcement itself is waterproof to a good degree, but not “waterproof like plastic”. However, when installed and sealed correctly, it can be so waterproof to be used in wet areas like bathrooms.
2. Can microcement go over tile?
Absolutely, one of the most popular applications with no demolition necessary, but the surface must be properly prepared so grout lines don’t show and bonding is correct.
3. Is microcement hard to DIY?
Traditional systems can be very difficult. A premixed, ready-to-use system like mYcrocement is designed to be more approachable, dependable and repeatable.
