MyBOND Polymer Liquid Resin Admixture
Specialized mixing resin formulated to blend with MyBASE powder for heavy-duty, high-stress substrate reinforcement.
MyBOND is the high-performance liquid polymer resin designed specifically to mix with MyBASE powder, creating a heavy-duty base paste. Applied over primed surfaces in high-traffic or high-stress environments, this reinforced core layer delivers maximum flexural strength, crack resistance, and long-term structural reliability.
Complete High-Stress System Sequence
- 1. Primer: MyPRIMER
- 2. Core Base Layer 1: MyBASE Paste (MyBASE Powder + MyBOND Liquid)
- 3. Structural Reinforcement: Fiberglass mesh embedded into fresh Coat 1 (optional / recommended for dynamic zones)
- 4. Core Base Layer 2: MyBASE Paste (MyBASE Powder + MyBOND Liquid). Sand* as needed.
- 5. Decorative Microcement: MyCROCEMENT™
- 6. Protective Topcoat: MyGUARD

Key Features & System Benefits
- Superior Flexural Durability: Blending MyBOND into MyBASE powder dramatically increases tensile strength to absorb minor substrate shifts without telegraphing cracks.
- Seamless Mesh Encapsulation: Formulated to coat and lock fiberglass mesh flat between the two base layers for maximum impact resistance.
- Predictable Professional Results: Engineered for high-stress, high-use applications where ultimate bond integrity and flat substrate leveling are non-negotiable.
Application Steps
- Prime: Prepare the surface and apply MyPRIMER. Allow to dry completely.
- Mix Base Paste: Combine MyBASE powder directly into MyBOND liquid resin to achieve a workable, creamy trowel consistency.
- First Coat & Mesh: Trowel an even layer of the mixed MyBASE paste. Embed fiberglass mesh into the wet paste especially across joints or high-stress zones, pressing it flat.
- Second Coat: Once the first layer has set, apply a second coat of MyBASE paste to fully encapsulate the mesh and build a uniform, flat base foundation.
- Finish: Proceed with MyCROCEMENT™ application and complete with MyGUARD sealer.
What is MyBOND and how is it used?
MyBOND is a specialized polymer liquid resin admixture designed strictly to blend with MyBASE powder. Together, they form a heavy-duty base paste (MyBASE) used as the structural foundation layer for microcement installations. It is not applied alone.
When should I use MyBOND mixed with MyBASE instead of a standard base?
This reinforced 2-component system is recommended for high-stress, high-traffic, or heavy-use areas—such as commercial floors, dynamic substrates, countertops, or tile overhauls—where maximum flexural strength, crack resistance, and mesh integration are required.
Can I use MyBOND by itself as a standalone primer or adhesive?
No. MyBOND is engineered solely as a liquid mixing component for MyBASE powder. For priming raw or non-porous substrates, always use MyPRIMER.
How is the fiberglass mesh integrated into this base layer?
Apply the first coat of the mixed MyBASE paste, press the fiberglass mesh directly into the fresh paste until embedded, and allow it to set. Then trowel a second coat of MyBASE paste over the mesh to completely encapsulate it and create a flat foundation.
What is the full system sequence that includes MyBASE from start to finish?
MyPRIMER (1-2 Coats)
MyBASE Paste (Coat 1) – MyBASE Powder + MyBOND Liquid
Fiberglass Mesh – Embedded into wet Coat 1
MyBASE Paste (Coat 2) – Full encapsulation
MyCROCEMENT™ (2 Coats)
MyGUARD (1-2 Coats)
*PPE & Cleanliness Notice: Sanding and mixing powders create airborne dust hazards. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including a fitted dust mask/respirator (N95+), protective eyewear, and gloves. Use adequate ventilation or active dust extraction. Wear suitable footwear to avoid transferring dust outside the work area.
