Important System Note: Reinforced Kit 2 is a heavy-duty preparation and reinforcement system. It is designed to be used in combination with Regular Kit 1, which provides your pre-colored MyCROCEMENT™ finish layer, texture, and protective topcoats.
While standard Kit 1 delivers outstanding performance for most vertical and light-wear applications, Kit 2 provides an extra layer of structural “insurance.” It is ideal for floors, staircases, and hearths, or for peace of mind over substrates where subtle movement might occur—such as tile grout lines, subfloor seams, or material transitions. By adding flex strength and impact resistance, Kit 2 ensures long-term system stability in high-stress areas.

Fiberglass Mesh Reinforcement (Recommended)
For maximum flex resistance and anti-fracture insurance—especially over tile joints, subfloor seams, or wood transitions—we strongly recommend embedding alkali-resistant (AR) fiberglass mesh into your first layer of MyBASE Paste.
To keep kit pricing and freight costs as low as possible for you, mesh is intentionally not included in the box. Standard alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh is an inexpensive commodity item available for a few dollars at any local hardware store in the tile or drywall aisle.
